A series of long exposure photographs capturing the collision and light trails of magnets.

Over thousands of iterations and collisions, forms symbolic of lifeforms from Earth’s natural history and human development emerge from these controlled experiments.

Each interaction only happens under a fraction of a second, and every outcome invites the viewer to contemplate its ephemerality.

The spontaneity of these works both contrast and empathise with our own existence across the full expanse of time.

Printed on xray film, the work is a reminder that even the eternity of being are merely flickers in the void that is time and the universe.
